Concierge Medical Consultants was born from a long-running partnership between two professionals who share a vision for better care—Brian Colbert and William Wayland.
For years, Brian has led business development and patient experience at a concierge internal medicine practice in San Francisco. Early on, he brought in William, a seasoned strategist and communications consultant, to help shape the practice’s brand, messaging, and patient outreach.
As the practice grew, so did their collaboration. They built a working model for what personalized medicine can look like when a practice has the right tools, the right message, and the right mindset.
With Concierge Medical Consultants, Brian and William bring that hard-earned experience to others. Their work is grounded in trust and shaped by real practice success.

Brian Colbert is the Co-Founder and Director of Practice Transformation at Concierge Medical Consultants and a seasoned leader in business development and patient experience within concierge medicine.
As Director of Business Development and Patient Experience at Savant Wellness, Brian has spent years building and refining one of San Francisco’s most trusted concierge practices from the inside out. His unique perspective—working at the intersection of operations, communication, and care—gives him a deep understanding of what it takes to successfully transition from a traditional model to a personalized, membership-based practice.
Brian co-founded Concierge Medical Consultants to help physicians navigate that journey with confidence and clarity. He brings practical expertise in logistics, pricing strategy, and patient engagement, without losing sight of the human relationships at the heart of medicine.
Approachable, strategic, and deeply experienced, Brian works alongside physicians to design practices that reflect their values—and elevate the experience for patients and providers alike.
William Wayland
Co-Founder & Strategic Communications Director
William Wayland is Co-Founder and Strategic Communications Director of Concierge Medical Consultants, where he helps physicians reimagine their practices through a more personal, patient-centered model of care.
With a background in branding, communications, and healthcare consulting, William brings a rare blend of insight and empathy to each client engagement. He co-founded Concierge Medical Consultants to give physicians a pathway to greater freedom, deeper patient relationships, and sustainable revenue—without sacrificing their values or identity in the process.
With an expertise in messaging, patient engagement, and strategic planning. William’s approach is grounded in trust, clarity, and discretion.
He lives in Marin County, California and works with physicians across the country who are ready to practice medicine on their own terms.
